At age 23, former college soccer player Megan Dychala found out that her nagging knee pain was stage 2 synovial sarcoma. After first being misdiagnosed and later being told amputation was her only chance for survival, Megan then turned to the sarcoma experts at the Abramson Cancer Center. Her treatment team, led by Drs. Kristy Weber and Stephen Kovach, saved her leg and her life.
