Firearm Safety
Every day, people are injured or killed because
guns aren't stored or handled safely.
Learning how to handle your gun carefully and
keeping it stored properly can help save lives.

keeping our community safe.
Due to high demand we have paused requests for safe orders at this time. Email us to be notified when we resume orders.
This project was funded by the PA Department of Health’s Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant.
Rules of Firearm Safety
Treat every firearm as if it
is loaded.
Never point a firearm at
anything you do not intend
to destroy.
Keep your finger off the
trigger until you are ready
to fire the gun.
Walls do not stop bullets.
Be aware of what is behind
your target.
Always secure your firearm
safely. Unload and secure it
with a cable lock or in a
safe. Store ammunition
separately.
Talk to your children about
gun safety.
Ask: “Is there an unlocked
gun where my child plays”?
