Elinore Kaufman, MD, MSHP, has joined the Division of Trauma, Surgical Critical Care and Emergency Medicine at Penn Medicine.
A graduate of Harvard Medical School, Dr. Kaufman completed a general surgery residency at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center and a fellowship in surgical critical care and trauma at the Hospital if the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kaufman also completed a Masters of Science in Health Policy Research at the Perelman School of Medicine.
Dr. Kaufman’s research interests include health policy and health services, ranging from qualitative assessment of patient-centered care in the trauma bay to national analyses of drunk driving prevention policies and gun control laws. She will see patients at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
