A graduate of the State University of New York at the Buffalo School of Medicine, Andrew D. Sobel, MD, completed an internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Brown University - Rhode Island Hospital and fellowships at Washington University in St. Louis-Barnes Jewish Hospital (Hand and Microsurgery) and Brown University-Rhode Island Hospital (Trauma).

Dr. Sobel specializes in hand, wrist and elbow surgery for everything from common to the most complex injuries and disorders in patients of all ages. With a clinical focus on trauma and microsurgery, he treats nerve injuries and compression, fractures, arthritis, tendon disorders, sports-related injuries, birth differences, wounds, tumors, and microvascular issues.

Dual-fellowship trained in hand/upper extremity and microsurgery, as well as trauma surgery, Dr. Sobel sees patients at Penn Orthopaedics Pennsylvania Hospital and Penn Orthopaedics Valley Forge.
