Benjamin Khazan, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Maryland Medical School. He then completed an internal medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and a cardiology fellowship at Temple University Hospital.

Dr. Khazan has a special interest in cardiovascular disorders and cardiac risk factors, including stable ischemic heart disease, acute coronary syndromes, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathies, hypertension, and dyslipidemia. He is also interested in cardiac imaging, including echocardiography (transthoracic, transesophageal, and structural), nuclear cardiology, and vascular ultrasound.

Board certified in internal medicine and vascular interpretation, Dr. Khazan sees patients at the Penn Heart and Vascular Center in Pennsylvania Hospital and Washington Square and at Penn Cardiology South Philadelphia.
