Shang-Chuin Arvin Loh, MD, FACS, is a graduate of Texas A&M College of Medicine. He completed a general surgery residency at New York University Langone Medical Center, where he later completed a vascular and endovascular surgery fellowship, and was a cardiovascular research fellow at Stanford University.

Dr. Loh specializes in complex vascular and endovascular surgery, including aortic aneurysms, aortic dissections, peripheral aneurysms, carotid artery disease, visceral occlusive disease, limb salvage and lower extremity arterial and deep venous disease. His clinical focus includes endovascular, open, and hybrid treatment of complex thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms and the use of endovascular stent-grafts to treat complications from aortic dissections.

Board certified in general surgery and vascular surgery, Dr. Loh's current research interest is focused on future aortic stent-graft technologies and the use of aortic stent-grafts in complicated and uncomplicated aortic dissections, including applications of advanced techniques to promote aortic remodeling after dissection.
