Blake Watterworth, MD, is a graduate of the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. He completed an internship and anesthesiology residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in interventional pain medicine at the University of Maryland Medical School in College Park.
Dr. Watterworth specializes in the treatment of acute and chronic pain related to a wide range of injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system and neck and back, as well as neuropathic, chronic post-surgical, and cancer-related pain. He has a particular interest in the progression of acute to chronic pain and the treatment of neuropathic pain of the peripheral nerves.
Dr. Watterworth sees spine and other pain medicine patients at Pennsylvania Hospital, Penn Medicine Rittenhouse, and Penn Medicine University City.
