Arwa Alzaghal, MD, is a graduate of Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan. She completed her internship at Princess Basma Teaching Hospitaland a residency in diagnostic radiology at the American University of Beirut. Subsequently, Dr. Alzaghal completed a fellowships at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in cancer imaging, women's imaging, medical informatics, medical informatics/breast imaging, and abdominal imaging & intervention. The latter involves the application of CT, ultrasound, MRI, plain radiographs, and fluoroscopy for diagnosis and intervention in the chest, abdomen, and pelvis.
Dr. Alzaghal's area of concentration is body intervention in abdominal imaging. She sees patients at Penn Radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
