A graduate of the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Cara Cipriano, MD, MSc, completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Rush University Medical Center, followed by fellowships in adult reconstruction surgery at VCU Medical Center and musculoskeletal oncology at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine. She then practiced for seven years at Washington University in St. Louis, where she earned a Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation.

Dr. Cipriano specializes in orthopaedic oncology and adult reconstruction. She has expertise in managing benign and malignant tumors of the musculoskeletal system (including bone and soft tissues), and treats primary sarcomas as well as metastatic cancers in patients of all ages. She has a particular clinical interest in pelvic tumors, limb salvage surgery, and coordinated multidisciplinary care.

Board-certified in orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Cipriano sees patients at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine and Penn Orthopaedics Radnor.
