Penn Cardiology welcomes heart failure specialist Kiran Sidhu, MD, MPH. Dr. Sidhu graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) Medical School, where she also completed her internal medicine residency. She subsequently completed a general cardiology and electrophysiology device fellowship at the University of Western Ontario, followed by an advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She then completed a Master's degree in Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health.

Dr. Sidhu's research and clinical interests include the interplay between heart failure and the arrhythmias, and she is working on starting a cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) non-responder clinic. Most recently, Dr. Sidhu has been studying CRT response in LMNA cardiomyopathy, as well as VT burden and response to device therapies.

Board certified in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine, Dr. Sidhu is passionate about medical education as well as genetic cardiomyopathies, MCS and shock. She sees patients at the Penn Heart and Vascular Center at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine.
