Saïd C. Azoury, MD, is now on the faculty of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Penn Medicine.

Dr. Azoury is a graduate of Eastern Virginia Medical School, and completed his general surgery residency at the John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, during which time he completed a clinical and research fellowship in surgical oncology at the National Cancer Institute/National Institutes of Health. Subsequently, he completed a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine and a fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY.

Dr. Azoury has a clinical interest in head-to-toe microvascular reconstruction with a focus on breast reconstruction/augmentation, lymphedema, and lower extremity salvage procedures. His research interests include outcomes in traumatic and oncologic reconstruction; he has published extensively on these and other topics.

Board-certified in general surgery and board eligible in plastic surgery, Dr. Azoury sees plastic surgery patients at Penn Washington Square, the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine, and Penn Medicine Cherry Hill.
