A graduate of The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN, Dr. Sumeet S. Vaikunth completed an internship and residency in combined internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles County Hospital. He then completed separate fellowships in pediatric cardiology and adult congenital heart disease at the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital/Stanford University. Prior to his medical education, Dr. Vaikunth received an MEd at the University of California.
Dr. Vaikunth specializes in adult congenital heart disease and pediatric cardiology. Board certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, pediatric cardiology, and adult congenital heart disease, he sees patients at the Penn Heart and Vascular Center and the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine.
