Mahesh K. Vidula, MD, has joined the faculty of Penn Cardiology.
A graduate of the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Dr. Vidula completed his residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, the original teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. He then completed two fellowships, in cardiovascular medicine and advanced cardiac imaging, at the Perelman School of Medicine.
Dr. Vidula’s clinical expertise spans the compass of cardiac disease. His research interests include utilizing advanced cardiac imaging (especially cardiac MRI, echocardiography, and nuclear imaging) to better understand, infiltrative/inflammatory cardiomyopathies and valvular heart diseases.
Board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine, Dr. Vidula sees patients at the Penn Heart and Vascular Center of the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine.
