Medical oncologist Shayma Master Kazmi, MD, RPh, is now on the faculty of Penn Hematology and Oncology.
Dr. Kazmi is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where she completed both a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology oncology. Prior to completing medical school, Dr. Kazmi earned a degree in pharmacy from Rutgers University, College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Kazmi has published and lectured widely on cancers of the lung and breast, genomics and immunotherapy, and has participated in clinical investigations involving chemotherapeutics and immunotherapies for breast cancers, renal cell carcinoma and cancers of the gastrointestinal tract, among other malignancies.
Board certified in hematology, internal medicine, and medical oncology, Dr. Kazmi sees patients at the Abramson Cancer Center Cherry Hill and Penn Hematology/Oncology Sewell.
