Chase R. Brown, MD, MSHP, has returned to Penn Medicine as the Surgical Director of Coronary Artery Revascularization at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Brown completed his residency and a fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, and an MS in Health Policy Research at the Perelman School of Medicine.

A graduate of the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Brown is a cardiac surgeon specializing in advanced coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). His focus is on total arterial coronary revascularization utilizing off-pump, minimally invasive and robotic approaches. He also specializes in aortic surgery using open surgical and transcatheter techniques.

Dr. Brown’s current research interests include healthy policy research on comparative effectiveness and economic assessment of emerging technologies in cardiovascular surgery. He sees patients at Penn Cardiovascular Surgery Penn Presbyterian.
