The Penn Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy Program welcomes Alexander S. Fairman, MD.
A graduate of the Perelman School of Medicine, where he was a Harrison Surgical Scholar, Dr. Fairman completed a residency in integrated vascular surgery at the Hospital fo the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Fairman’s clinical interests include thoracic and abdominal aortic surgery (endovascular and open), carotid and peripheral artery disease, dialysis access, thoracic outlet syndrome, popliteal entrapment syndrome and venous disease. His research encompasses clinical risk prediction of adverse outcomes in patients undergoing vascular surgery.
Dr. Fairman sees patients at the Penn Heart and Vascular Center at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine.
