Dr. Karishma Khullar has joined the faculty of Penn Radiation Oncology. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Khullar completed a transitional year internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI, followed by residency in radiation oncology at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, where she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Khullar’s clinical research interests include understanding and mitigating cancer care disparities, focuses that have resulted in several publications and oral presentations at national radiation oncology conferences. She sees patients with gastrointestinal malignancies — including esophageal, gastric, liver, biliary, pancreas, rectal, and anal cancers — at Penn Radiation Oncology Perelman.
