Rohini Samudralwar, MD, has joined Penn Neurology as the Clinical Co-Director of the Multiple Sclerosis and Related Disorders Center Fellowship, and Associate Program Director of Neurology residency.

A graduate of Drexel University School of Medicine, Dr. Samudralwar completed an internship in internal medicine and a residency in Neurology at Baylor University Medical Center. Subsequently, she completed a fellowship in neuroimmunology and neuroinfectious diseases and a graduate certificate in clinical investigation at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

Dr. Samudralwar's expertise includes multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease (MOGAD), and in particular neurosarcoidosis. Her research interest is neurosarcoidosis, a multisystem granulomatous disease. Dr. Samudralwar has participated in several multi-institutional retrospective studies of the condition assessing the phenotypes and effects of therapy.

Board certified in neurology, Dr. Samudralwar sees patients at the Penn Neuroscience Center - Neurology at Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine, and Penn Neurology Cherry Hill.
