Lauren Glassmoyer, MD, has joined the faculty of Penn Cardiology. Her practice centers on medical and invasive management of coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease, acute pulmonary embolism interventions as well as intervention for chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension.
A graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine, Dr. Glassmoyer completed an internship and residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston before completing separate fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology (with a focus on complex coronary and peripheral vascular intervention) at the University of California San Diego in La Jolla.
Dr. Glassmoyer is triple board certified (internal medicine, cardiology, and interventional cardiology). She is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) as well as a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI). She sees patients at the Penn Heart and Vascular Center at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine and Penn Medicine Radnor.
