Alexandra L. Strauss, MD, has joined the faculty of Penn GI and Hepatology.
A graduate of Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, Dr. Strauss completed a residency in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. This was followed at the same institution by fellowships in gastroenterology and advanced esophagology. Dr. Strauss’ research interests focus largely upon esophageal disease and its manifestations, including eosinophlic esophagitis, Barrett’s esophagus, esophageal motility disorders and lichen planus in the context of dysphagia.
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Strauss sees patients at Penn Gastroenterology Perelman.
