Daniel Lefler, MD, joins Penn Medical Oncology after completing a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
A graduate of Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, Dr. Lefler attended the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for his residency and subsequently served as a chief resident for the program. He is a sarcoma specialist and has presented and co-authored reports on a variety of subjects in cancer management including checkpoint inhibitor therapy in gastrointestinal malignancies, among others. He has a particular interest in clinical trials for patients with sarcoma.
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Lefler sees patients at Pennsylvania Hospital and the Abramson Cancer Center of the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine.
