Madiha A. Gilani, MD, is now the Director of Hematology Oncology Services at Penn Radnor.
A graduate of the Baqai Medical University, Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Gilani started her career in United Kingdom by pursuing a two-year Foundation Training program at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, a part of the National Health Service (NHS). She subsequently moved to the US and completed a residency in internal medicine at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers School of Biomedical and Health Sciences). She stayed on to complete a year of Chief Residency. Dr. Gilani then completed a fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center/Cardeza Foundation for Hematologic Research of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Gilani was most recently a Hematologist and Medical Oncologist at the Jefferson/Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia.
Dr. Gilani has had extensive experience in diagnosing and treating all solid tumors, malignant hematologic and benign hematologic disease. She has initiated and led quality improvement and safety projects. Her clinical practice interest and focus at the Abramson Cancer Center Radnor is breast oncology.
Triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology, Dr. Gilani sees patients at the Abramson Cancer Center Radnor.
