Lin Mei, MD, has joined the faculty of the division of Hematology Oncology. A summa cum laude graduate of Peking University Health Science Center in Beijing, China. Dr. Mei completed a research fellowship and residency in New York State at Albany Medical College and the University of Buffalo SUNY, respectively. Subsequently, he was a hematology oncology fellow at the Massey Cancer Center of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.
Dr. Mei’s publications in peer-reviewed journals reflect his wide clinical interest on a variety of topics relevant to hematology and oncology. These include checkpoint inhibition in brain metastases, malignant pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma, gastrointestinal stromal tumor syndromes, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, and colorectal cancer, among much else. Dr. Mei is affiliated with the Penn Genitourinary and Urologic Cancer Program.
Board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology, Dr. Mei sees patients at the Abramson Cancer Center at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
