Penn AERD Center Team

The Penn AERD Center team is made up of medical and surgical subspecialists who work together as a cohesive unit to determine the best treatment plan to provide relief to AERD patients.

John V. Bosso, MD, Penn AERD Center Medical Director, founded the first regional AERD program in the New York metropolitan area and is the most experienced AERD expert in the eastern United States, successfully desensitizing over 1,000 AERD patients during his over 25 years in practice.

Nithin D. Adappa, MD, Penn AERD Center Surgical Director, has performed over 1,300 sinus surgeries in the last five years alone — focusing on complete clearance of sinus disease burden, including challenging disease in the frontal sinuses and ethmoid sinuses along the skull base, as well as novel topical irrigation therapies to minimize the recurrence of sinus infections and nasal polyps.
