Balance disorders can occur at any age. The vestibular system (inner ear) works with vision and proprioception (a person’s perception of his or her body’s movement and position) to help control the body. If this system is compromised, a person may experience dizziness or other balance issues that can make it hard to walk, see and move. If you start to experience any of these symptoms, you should make an appointment to see a doctor.
