- Receive dialysis treatment three days a week, for four hours a day.
- Are overseen by specially trained, compassionate caregivers.
- May enjoy interacting with other dialysis patients.
- Are not comfortable doing dialysis on their own.
- Prefer to receive treatment at one of our convenient, state-of-the-art facilities.
- Are seen once a week by a physician or nurse practitioner for evaluation and follow up care.
- Receive one-on-one personalized care.
What To Expect
During your in-center treatment, a trained staff member will prepare you for treatment by carefully washing the hemodialysis access site and taking your blood pressure and vital signs. You will then be connected to the dialysis machine for the next four hours, and monitored to ensure that your treatment goes smoothly. During that time you may relax, read, watch television or any other activity that can be done while you are resting comfortably in the dialysis chair. After four hours, you will be disconnected from the machine and will be free to go about your day.
