Community Resources 

Access Matters

Access Matters provides community-based health services. It is known for its community engagement and health promotion work to improve health outcomes for HIV affected women and families,  HIV positive consumers, and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons.

The Attic Youth Center

The Attic Youth Center creates opportunities for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) youth to develop into healthy, independent, civic-minded adults within a safe and supportive community, and promotes the acceptance of LGBTQ youth in society.

The Gender and Sexuality Development Program at CHOP

The Gender and Sexuality Development Program at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is part of Adolescent Specialty Care. The multidisciplinary team including an adolescent medicine specialist, endocrinologist, and mental health therapist/gender specialist provides assessment, medical management and other support for gender-variant or transgender children and adolescents.

The LGBT Elder Initiative (LGBTEI)

The LGBT Elder Initiative (LGBTEI) is committed to assuring that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender older adults have rights and opportunities to live vibrant, creative and mutually supportive lives. To achieve this vision, the mission of the LGBTEI is to foster and advocate for services and resources that are competent, culturally sensitive, inclusive and responsive to the needs of LGBT elders in the Delaware Valley and beyond.

Mazzoni Center

Mazzoni Center is the only health care provider in the Philadelphia region specifically targeting the unique health care needs of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities, offering a full continuum of services staffed by dedicated, compassionate professionals.

William Way LGBT Community Center

Founded in 1976 as the Gay Community Center of Philadelphia, the William Way Community Center has a 40+ year history of serving the LGBT community in the Philadelphia region. The William Way LGBT Community Center seeks to encourage, support, and advocate for the well-being and acceptance of sexual and gender minorities through service, recreational, educational, and cultural programming.
