Through Penn Neurosurgery's Second Opinion Program, our experienced team of neurosurgeons offers both virtual and in person second opinions to any patient who has received a neurosurgical diagnosis. Patients will receive an expedited appointment with an expert neurosurgeon at a convenient time and location for them.
Our highly qualified and experienced neurosurgeons are the region's best when it comes to treating conditions of the brain, spine and central nervous system.
We provide timely and expert second opinions for all neurosurgical conditions. If you would like to request a second opinion:

- A neurosurgery coordinator will call you within 48 business hours, answer any questions you may have, and schedule you with a Penn neurosurgery expert

Please note that only Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware patients are eligible for virtual second opinions. If you live in a state that prohibits virtual second opinions from Penn Medicine, you will be required to schedule an in person visit.
