These multidisciplinary programs complement traditional treatments and are available to patients regardless of prognosis and in conjunction with curative therapies. For Heart and Vascular, Lung, and Renal Patients
For patients seeing a Penn Medicine heart and vascular, lung, or renal (kidney)
specialist, providers at the Palliative Care Clinic work in conjunction with a patient's existing specialist to improve quality of life for patients with serious conditions. Patients are seen in their regular clinic for either a single visit or ongoing care.
