Our outpatient substance use treatment program strives to provide the best possible care for adult patients suffering from a substance use disorder (SUD), who may also have a mental health condition that is currently stabilized.
We offer outpatient and intensive outpatient services, as well as ongoing psychiatric services post-stabilization for individuals experiencing co-occurring SUD and psychiatric conditions.
Who Will Be Part of My Treatment Team?
Our treatment program includes psychiatrists, Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Certified Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselors (CAADC), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors (CADC), experienced substance use disorder clinicians, and ancillary therapists, including art therapists. All staff members are expertly trained in providing SUD and co-occurring disorder treatment to individuals seeking assistance.
What Will My Treatment Look Like?
We understand that each patient has unique needs and goals for treatment. During the assessment process, patients seeking treatment will explore plans with an assessment counselor.
With your consent, outside providers, case managers, and loved ones are encouraged to participate in your treatment and aftercare planning.
Treatment plans often include a combination of ongoing individual and group therapy sessions, family sessions, and aftercare coordination. Support groups are often recommended as well. We also collaborate with community service organizations and make referrals as necessary to help patients maintain sobriety.
Your treatment may consist of:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Expressive Therapy
- Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET)
- Psychoeducational groups
Both medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and medication-free treatment options are offered.
Group Treatment
In order to attend group treatment, you must first complete an assessment and be enrolled in program. You will be assigned to your primary counselor’s group. You must arrive on time. Group treatment times are as follows:
-
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 am to 2:30 pm
- Tuesday and Thursdays from 5 pm to 8:30 pm
- Saturday mornings from 9 am to 12:30 pm
We also offer individual and family sessions as well as assessment appointments on evenings and Saturdays.
How Long is the Treatment Program?
The typical length of treatment is up to 1 year, which includes 3+ months of intensive treatment and 6-9 months of aftercare treatment services. Length of treatment varies based on your needs and progress in treatment.
If you are diagnosed with Opiate Use Disorder (OUD), you will also be connected with a member of the CORE Team for additional services and support.
