When Jennifer James' mother had a motorcycle accident in Canada, it was a frightening experience. Once she was flown back to Philadelphia to @PennTrauma, she knew she was in good hands. Here is her story:
"In July of 2011, my mother was in a motorcycle accident in Destruction Bay, Yukon, Canada. She had a spiral fracture of her tibia and fibia. We flew her back to Philadelphia to Dr. Mehta and his team. 6 years later, she walks several miles every morning on the beach in her new hometown of St. Augustine, Florida. We are all so thankful to Dr. Mehta, his team of physicians and nurses at Penn Medicine’s Trauma Center for their incredible care."
