The Pavilion at HUP was not just designed to help staff care for patients. It was also built to make stressful times easier for the families and loved ones of those in the hospital.
Situated next to the cafeteria on the first floor of the Pavilion, the Drs. Jack and Pina Templeton Family Caregiver Center offers a quiet space to rest, work, or recharge.
The Center contains a large lounge area, a kitchen and pantry stocked with free snacks and beverages, and two private rooms — one equipped with a massage chair, the other for family meetings, phone calls, or remote work.
Staff and volunteers are available to answer questions about the hospital or help caregivers with anything else they or their loved ones may need.
