The Penn Medicine Loyalty Society was established to thank and honor donors to Penn Medicine who, for three or more consecutive years, have responded to our requests for unrestricted support and believe in the importance of giving each and every year. Their unfailing loyalty enables Penn Medicine to remain at the forefront of medical research, medical education, and the compassionate care of patients.
America’s first hospital founded by Ben Franklin in 1751 and first medical school, founded in 1765 at what is now the University of Pennsylvania, both started with a mission to improve the standards of medical care and training in America.
Over the past two-and-a-half centuries, loyal unrestricted support helped physicians, nurses, researchers, and staff at Penn Medicine:
- Provide consistent, expert, and compassionate care.
- Pioneer advanced medical discoveries through innovative research.
- Discover unique opportunities and meet unexpected challenges.
It is with this legacy and vision of donors in mind that we honor the compassionate members of Penn Medicine Loyalty Society. These donors understand the need to stay ahead of medical challenges from COVID-19 to heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and more.
Loyal generosity is responsible for so many accomplishments at Penn Medicine that have impacted patient care and medical education around the world. Loyal donors continue to provide the foundation for tomorrow’s achievements.
