Princeton Health’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee sponsored an event June 8 in the Healing Garden outside Princeton Medical Center to honor the life of George Floyd and others whose lives were lost due to racism and social injustice.

The online Treat a Healthcare Hero to Dinner drew a swift, generous response from individuals and local businesses, enabling the Princeton Medical Center (PMC) Foundation to raise $167,312 from 494 donors within only a few weeks.

On the Mother-Baby Unit at Princeton Medical Center (PMC), a popular ice cream cart makes daily rounds, with Food and Nutrition staff delivering treats to patients, visitors, employees, and physicians. These days, the cart resembles an old-school, honest-to-goodness ice cream truck thanks to a recent makeover by the hospital’s Engineering Department.

The Kids Marathon, a 10-week event presented each year by Princeton Health Community Wellness, will kick off this month, as youngsters across central New Jersey begin racking up 25 miles of exercise on their own with their families.
