In acknowledgement of the critical role mental health plays in overall wellness, and in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Wellfocused and Penn COBALT teams are partnering to provide additional mental health-specific programming throughout the month of May.

“UPHS aims to foster an environment that supports all facets of well-being – and mental health is no exception,” said Janna Rothschild, senior employee health and well-being coordinator. “In our busy day-to-day lives, it can be difficult to stop and prioritize our mental health. The goal is to provide employees with resources that help them manage their mental health, identify stressors, and break the stigma.”

“Coping with life's ups and downs is a critical component of good mental well-being,” Rothschild added. “There is a program or resource for everyone, regardless of what they are experiencing or feeling. I encourage everyone to take an active role in prioritizing their mental health.” — Janna Rothschild
