PHILADELPHIA—The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC) rank #16 in the United States and #61 globally on Newsweek’s “World’s Best Hospitals 2021,” which ranks 2,000 hospitals in over 25 countries based on their consistent excellence, distinguished physicians, top-notch nursing care and state-of-the-art technology. The combined enterprise of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center is also the highest-ranking Pennsylvania hospital.
