A team of researchers in the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Clinic, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, were recently awarded a $3.2 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to enhance research for improving heart transplant outcomes for patients.

Penn Medicine hospitals have once again been ranked among the top hospitals in the nation by U.S News & World Report. The combined enterprise of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center was named to the magazine’s prestigious Honor Roll list for the 14th consecutive year, and twelve clinical specialties also received top rankings.
