Parking
Our parking garage is at 54th Street and Larchwood Avenue, one block north of Cedar Avenue. It is available free of charge for patients, families, and visitors. Please do not leave valuables in your car. The garage is connected to the main hospital building via the Atrium on the first floor.
Once you park in the garage, take the elevators to the first floor where you will enter past the security desk.

Enter the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania - Cedar Avenue through the parking garage on S. 54th Street. Take the elevators to the first floor and visit the security desk.
The hospital’s emergency entrance is off of S. 54th Street, just north of Cedar Avenue.
Emergency department and patient rooms
The Emergency Department and Crisis Response Center are on the ground floor.
Patient Rooms are on the second, fifth, and sixth floors.

The cardiology office is on the ground floor of the Medical Office building, which you can enter through the parking garage.
Amenities
Food and drink
- The HUP-Cedar Cafeteria is on the hospital’s first floor. It is open Monday to Friday from 6:45 to 10:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., and 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. On weekends, it is open from 6:45 to 10 a.m., 11:30 to 2 p.m., and 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- Vending machines are available 24/7 in the Emergency Department and cafeteria.
ATM
An automated teller machine (ATM) is on the hospital’s first floor.
