Gina McShea graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She started her professional nursing career at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and worked on a progressive care surgical unit. She continued to work as a nurse while attending the University of Pennsylvania’s Adult and Gerontology Nurse Practitioner Programs.
Gina completed a Master of Science in Nursing and started her advanced practice nursing career with the Division of Endocrine and Oncology Surgery outpatient practice in the Rena Rowan Breast Center in 2012. She supports surgical practices and provides care for patients with newly diagnosed breast cancer and surgical breast patients. She also has an independent clinic, the Breast Evaluation Clinic, to workup patients with benign breast disease and follows patients with abnormal breast imaging, family history of breast cancer and high risk breast screening.
