Dr. Timothy Costales is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals in Philadelphia, including Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He received a BS in Biochemistry with Honors at Georgetown University. He received his medical degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. He underwent his orthopaedic surgery residency training at the University of Maryland Medical System / R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. He completed a fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction and joint replacement at Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School.
