Sarcoidosis is a disease that may develop after inflammation, causing immune cells to cluster in lumps, or granulomas. These lumps may develop in any organ and often form in the lungs, skin or lymph nodes.
Symptoms of Sarcoidosis
Symptoms of sarcoidosis vary according to the area affected. Lung symptoms such as hoarseness, wheezing and cough are most common. Other sarcoidosis symptoms include:
- fatigue
- weight loss
- tender or swollen lymph nodes
- sores
- rash
- fever
- vision problems
