A Gentle Place to Rest One's Head

Patients and families in our community give back to Penn Medicine Abramson Cancer Center in all sorts of creative ways. Rose Ianiero chose to honor her father by giving back to the cancer center that cared for him as a patient.

"Before the passing of my father, Vincent Pileggi, he used to say: 'I have one more innovative idea to create before I part from this amazing world. One that could help many people, especially those that are enduring the most challenging fight of their life.'

My dad gave his all to provide 'comfort' and the feeling of relief for patients as they lie in bed with an overwhelming condition, ready to take on challenges each day. His passion has inspired me to take this journey to make the Adjustable Pillowcase ™ available to everyone.

The Adjustable Pillowcase ™ is a patented pillowcase created with comfort in mind, which allows patients and users to relax in bed as they would at home. The pillowcase was designed to slip over an existing pillow and provide complete relaxation.

My dad was always focused on helping others. It was important to me to have a philanthropic component of Multi Comfort Pillow Products Company. Since we've started, we have donated thousands of Adjustable Pillowcases ™ to cancer organizations including: the Abramson Cancer Center and the American Cancer Society, in memory of Vincent J. Pileggi, Sr., to give hope, comfort, and relief to patients while they undergo treatment."
