Food Resources During COVID-19

Life circumstances have changed for many during the COVID-19 pandemic. Whether it’s an ill family member, furloughs, or other challenges that can affect how you maintain your family’s well-being.

Penn Medicine is here to help. Here are a few food resources that we recommend as you continue to shelter at home.

Food and Pantry Resources for all Pennsylvania residents:

  • Call 311 for help finding a food pantry. Make sure to call the pantry in advance to confirm their hours.
  • Call 211 for help via United Way (human and social services)
  • Visit WhyHunger to find food pantries near you or call their hotline at 1-800-5HUNGRY
  • Text your zip code to 1-800-548-6479 to receive a list of food pantries near you
  • Community Resource Connects–resources for food, mental health, housing, transportation, and education.
  • PA Department of Agriculture–search lists of food resources by county
