Mary is originally from Syracuse, New York. She attended undergrad at Cornell University majoring in Biology and Society with a focus on the intersection of medicine and the social sciences. She went to medical school at Sidney Kimmel Medical College and was heavily involved in the student-run clinic working with those experiencing homelessness and getting to know the incredible Philadelphia community. She completed Internal Medicine Residency at Penn and was fortunate to meet and work with wonderful mentors in ID in HIV and stewardship. Her current interests in ID focus on HIV prevention and community-based care. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with friends - particularly being amateur food critics for Philly's incredible restaurant scene.
