Why I chose Penn Family Medicine for my residency: I chose Penn Family Medicine for so many reasons, including the ability to gain in-depth experience in obstetrics and prenatal care, to care for historically underserved populations such as patients who identify as LGBTQ+ and patients with substance use, and more. I was looking for an environment that recognized health system and social inequities, and for a program that actively encouraged work that strives to reduce these inequities. I have found this to be true in Penn Family Medicine's active commitment to the West Philadelphia community

Hometown: Tampa, FL
