Under the direction of David Lenrow, MD, Penn PM&R’s residency director, Penn PM&R participates in the National Medical Matching Program for hiring all of its residency trainees. Currently, there are six resident positions at the Postgraduate-2 to Postgraduate-4 years, with four positions entering our residency program at the Postgraduate-1 level, and two positions entering at the Postgraduate-2 level. Overall, the program encompasses twenty-two trainees. We welcome the six Postgraduate2 level trainees who will be entering Penn PM&R residency program in July 2018.

Mitra Daneshvar, MD, MPH attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, the Yale University School of Public Health in New Haven, CT, and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Camden, NJ. She currently is participating in her internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Donald Frank Distel, MD, MBA attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO, the University of Colorado Business School in Denver, CO, and Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. He currently is participating in his internship at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY.

Residents walking down hallChristopher Inserra, MD, MS had his undergraduate education at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA, followed by graduate level training at Creighton University (Clinical Anatomy) in Omaha. He attended Creighton Univerisity School of Medicine in Omaha, NE. He currently is participating in his internship at the Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, NE.

Chloe McCloskey, MD attended the University of California in Davis, CA, and St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. She currently is participating in her internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Alfred Schupp III, MD attended the University of Rhode Island in South Kingstown, RI, and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. He currently is participating in his internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Adison Weseloh, MD, attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, and the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, FL. He currently is participating in his internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania

Jaclyn Barcikowski, DO, MA had her undergraduate education at the University of California in San Diego, CA, and graduate level training at Boston University School of Medicine (Medical Nutritional Sciences). She attended the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME. She currently is completing her fourth year of residency training at Penn PM&R.

MD, Penn PM&R will be initiating a Brain Injury subspecialty fellowship training program in July 2018, having successfully matched for the one available position offered within this Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)- approved fellowship.
