The ASPIRE Review Team will make final selections for admission to the ASPIRE Program at HUP based upon a holistic application review process. We review the student’s entire application, including personal information and experiences, transcript/grade point average, letters of recommendation, written essay and interview. Once all required information has been received, the ASPIRE Review Team will notify the applicant that their application is complete. Applicants that are selected to move to the next round after review of applications may be invited to participate in an interview process.

Please ensure:
- You have reviewed and meet all the Eligibility and Criteria requirements for the program prior to filling out an application.
- You have all required application information prior to filling out an online application. Only online applications will be reviewed and accepted.
We recommend printing out a PDF copy of the application (see link below) to review and gather all required information prior to starting an online application.
Application Requirements:
- Two (2) Essays (questions can be found in application PDF)
- Three (3) Recommendations (one Math or Science Teacher & two Non-Family Members)
- You need to provide contact information for these three recommendations and the ASPIRE Team will reach out to have them fill out a recommendation form on your behalf.
- Transcript
- You need to provide contact information for a guidance or school counselor and the ASPIRE Team will reach out to request a copy of your transcript.
- EFC Number
- To confirm your eligibility for the ASPIRE Program; we need you to fill out the Federal Student Aid Estimator. The Federal Student Aid Estimator helps provide an early estimate of your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and eligibility for federal student aid. You will be asked to provide, student, household and assets information to fill out this form so please work with your family to gather the information needed to complete this form. Once complete, please provide the number on the last page called “Estimated EFC” in the indicated section on your application.
