The Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) serves to advance the specialty practice of nursing professional development for the enhancement of health care. This is achieved by providing the following:
- A support network for members
- Encouragement to use evidence-based practice, research and best practices
- Continuing education activities
- Educational information and resources
- A collaborative effort for the development of education services and programs that benefit health care providers, professionals, and the community
- Information about educational programs related to health and health care
Continued Growth of Local Chapter
Professional development professionals at Penn Medicine chartered the greater Philadelphia chapter of ANPD in 2011. The membership has continued to grow and now includes members from other area health care organizations in the area.
The officers include:
