Some traditional African American dishes pose health risks. Yet a few tweaks can make these comfort foods more heart healthy. Heather Bainbridge, EdM, MA, RDN, a registered dietitian nutritionist with Penn Medicine Princeton Health, will demonstrate cooking techniques and recipe adjustments needed to make these cultural delights tasty and more nutritious.
