When Cupp 4 East nurse Scott Burshtynsky, RN, BSN, was called up to receive his Patient Advocacy Award, Craig Loundas, PhD, associate vice president of the Penn Medicine Experience, did a double take. Hadn’t he just watched the same person receive an award the day before? As it turns out, not only did Scott’s brother Justin — a nurse at HUP — start at Penn Medicine at the same time, but they both were recognized as patient advocates in the same year!
